OEM beam standard means the bulb's beam pattern and focus geometry are designed to match the specifications set by vehicle manufacturers for their factory-fitted headlamps. Note: only the 90W series carries full OEM approval; the 120W–260W series are built to OEM beam geometry but are not formally OEM-approved products.
Most LED bulbs run at peak rated wattage only at startup. As the chip heats up, standard designs throttle power to protect the LED. Blackcat LED bulbs minimise this gap through aviation-grade aluminium housing, multi-modal thermal management, and higher-efficiency LED chips. The result is near-rated lumen output in steady operation, not just at switch-on.
The 260W delivers 22,500 lumen — 1,500 more than the 220W — with the same 3 copper tube cooling. Choose 260W if you regularly drive on unlit highways or in conditions where maximum beam range matters. Both use OEM beam geometry.
